Paula Brown causes two wire fraud convictions to be thrown out.

Paula Brown caused two wire fraud convictions to be thrown out in the federal case, United States v. Boyd, in what was allegedly one of the largest mortgage-fraud cases in central Ohio history. The Court found persuasive Ms. Brown's argument that the jury's verdict was against the manifest weight of the evidence. The Court's decision was covered in a June 2, 2009, article in the Columbus Dispatch.
